February 13, 2003. Maury Drummond, Executive Director, Louisiana
Naval War Memorial Commission, discussed the history and future of the USS
KIDD. A tour of the engineering sections of the ship was led by Captain Bob
Allen and Rick Worley.
January 16, 2003. Bill Geiger, Coastal Corrotion Control, spoke
abloy cathodic protection for tanks and pipelines.
December 19, 2002. David Boulet, Louisiana Department of Economic
Development, Energy/Oil & Gas, spoke about oil and gas development for
Louisiana.
November 19, 2002. Nelson Brown and Ainsley Bishop, of Charles
SCHWAB & Co., treated those attending to a delicious meal and gave a
very informative presentation on navigating today's market. Attendance: 35
October 17, 2002. Armando Corripio, LSU Chemical Engineering,
gave his talk on ethics and professionalism. Attendance: 50.
September 10, 2002. Robert Hagen, Graham Corporation, gave
an excellent presentation on steam ejectors to a capacity crowd.
